The next "Doing Ecology Differently" workshop https://AndinaRomania.com is in Romania next June (see attached advert). Our group of international ecologists is not-for-profit and exists solely to generate more effective debate amongst scientists on ecological issues. This time 4/5 of our committee are women and we aim for gender equality. Our very unusual format ensures that everyone can be comfortable in expressing their views. Every attendee will have the opportunity to co-author a paper challenging ecologists in their future directions. We also have reduced rates for early career researchers (one third of places is reserved for them). And we go hiking every afternoon, so that we can discuss ecology in the real world and get to develop better interactions.
