Subject: GGBC spring workshops (online)
Upcoming workshops with the GGBC!
This spring the GGBC invites you to two online biodiversity workshops. We start off with a 3-day course on Spatial Analysis in R and continue the week with a 2-day workshop on Python for Biologists. The content between the two courses is not directly related, but they are scheduled all within one week, so you can choose to attend both of them consecutively! There is also the option to only join for single sessions of the workshops (see attached course descriptions). Should you choose to attend both courses there are possibilities to receive credits from the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Gothenburg, please contact us for more information on this.
To sign up send 5 lines of motivations to join the course Matthias Obst by May 4th the latest.
Spatial Analysis in R 25th - 27th May

Downloading, processing, and analyzing spatial data in R.

Python for biologists 28th - 29th May
Location: online course
Get started with Python programming for a variety of biological applications.
