We are offering a ca. 2.5 year postdoc position on model-based, landscape-level assessment of how to maintain biodiversity and ecosystem functioning while serving human needs in rainforest transformation systems.
The position is part of the Collaborative Research Center CRC990:
Ecological and Socioeconomic Functions of Tropical Lowland Rainforest Transformation Systems (Sumatra, Indonesia). The postdoc can build on lots of existing data and model development and emphasize model analysis and publications.
