A 1-year post doc position in conservation science is vacant at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala. Please forward to possible candidates.
Duties: To conduct a new research project that aims at providing knowledge useful when formulating conservation strategies in managed forest landscapes. The methods applied include simulations of forest development, surveys with the Delphi technique, and a multi-criterion decision analysis (MCDA). The post doc is supposed to spend most time on the Delphi study, and some time on the MCDA.
Qualifications: A PhD in environmental sciences, forest science, biology, or similar. As postdoctoral appointments are career-developing positions for junior researchers, we are primarily looking for candidates with a doctoral degree that is three years old at most.
