Extended call for abstracts to international sustainability conference Resilience 2017.
Resilience 2017 – Resilience Frontiers for Global Sustainability will be held in Stockholm, August 21-23 2017.
Deadline for abstract submission is January 20th. Submit abstract
The conference Resilience 2017, hosted by Stockholm Resilience Center and the Resilience Alliance, will discuss resilience as a key lens for biosphere-based sustainability science. The conference will gather leading scientists from around the world to share cutting-edge research, and focus on global sustainability challenges and opportunities, today heavily influenced by the speed, scale and connectivity of the Anthropocene.
We invite submission of abstracts to four different themes:
1. Social-ecological transformations for sustainability
2. Connectivity and cross-scale dynamics in the Anthropocene
3. Multi-level governance and biosphere stewardship
4. Approaches and methods for understanding social-ecological system dynamics

Resilience 2017 - the fourth of its kind – will as previously include the arts, policy and other activities aiming to inspire research at the forefront.
