New postdoc opportunity - optimized flower strips

Dear all,

I would appreciate help to spread the announcement for these postdoc positions,

https://www.slu.se/en/about-slu/jobs-vacancies/?rmpage=job&rmjob=3046&rmlang=UK

Two postdoctoral researchers in ecology: Flower strips for increased ecosystem service delivery in agriculture

Both postdoctoral researchers are expected to perform experiments where individual plant species are examined for their effect on natural enemies, pollinators and pests aboveground and nematodes belowground. Based on the results, optimized flower mixtures for increased ecosystem service delivery to achieve more sustainable crop protection in agriculture will be designed. One postdoctoral researcher will test these optimized flower strips in commercial strawberry production, both in conventional and organic fields. The other will evaluate already existing field edges planted with flowers (so called multifunctional buffer zones) and suggest improvements of these flower mixtures. The research will be conducted in collaboration with stakeholders.

Best regards,
Maria
