Subject: 3nd International Living Norway colloquium: The ethics and technical know-how of open science in ecology and evolution

Dear all,

On behalf of the Living Norway consortium, we warmly invite you to our 3rd International Living Norway colloquium that will take place on the 25^th - 26^th of October 2021 in Trondheim. The colloquium theme will be The ethics and technical know-how of open science in ecology and evolution. See the website for additional information here. Given the COVID-19 situation, we have developed this colloquium to have a hybrid online and in-person format

Day one will be dedicated to public lectures from national and international invited speakers. On day 2, we will arrange two workshops that will extend the discussions from day 1. Before lunch, we will arrange a workshop on education and training in open science and FAIR data management. This workshop will be arranged in collaboration with SFU bioCEED (https://bioceed.w.uib.no/). After lunch, we will arrange a workshop on novel tools for reproducible and transparent workflows in ecology and evolution. We will particularly focus on tools developed within the Living Norway Network. This workshop will be arranged in collaboration with SFF Centre for Biodiversity Dynamics (CBD; https://www.ntnu.edu/cbd).
