The department of Ecology at SLU in Uppsala announces two PhD positions in Conservation Biology. Due date for both positions are 2019-06-09.
1. Prescribed burning - how, where, and when should it be applied to be most beneficial?
The project aims to clarify which conservation values the burns create, and which environmental and ecological factors that are important for promoting different conservation values.

2. Recreational values in forested landscapes – where are they and how do they relate to biodiversity?
The project aims at increasing our understanding for how to manage forests to combine recreation, production and biodiversity.
